Dear neighbour,
"Don't' sit at the back of the bus, step to the front of the line" is the slogan on my campaign flyer, which you must have received by now. If you haven't my team will be delivering it to your doorstep pretty soon, in the meantime you can have a look at it by clicking here.
What do I mean when I say the above? Well, for too long Ward 43 has been sitting at the back of the list of priorities for Toronto. It's time to change the Scarborough second, downtown first mentality. It's time that Ward 43 got the resources it deserves as an equal ward of the City of Toronto because after all "Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want and deserve to get it good and hard" ~ Henry Mencken
As an ordinary resident (one who rents) of Scarborough East, I understand the many issues and challenges you face everyday. I am dedicated to advocating for your needs in this Ward and will be the champion of your rights at City Hall. My tenacity and commitment will ensure that financial issues will cease to be roadblocks on the road to unleashing the untapped potential of this community.
Youth are the future of the country. I have many young people working on my team, not just as volunteers for my campaign but as people who also have real life experiences and ideas and are active participants in community beyond election time.
I invite you to sign up to receive a newsletter, volunteer with my campaign, and tell me in person or on line, what you expect.
Guildwood, Morningside, Scarborough Village, West Hill, Woburn stand up and be counted. This is our time; I call on you to make the choice now that will ensure our continued prosperity in the future
On November 13th vote Chhabra for City Councillor.
Your neighbour and candidate,
